Privacy Policy
Music in the City unofficial guide — an unofficial, fan-made companion app for Music in the City (Southampton, Sat 12 & Sun 13 September 2026), built by Phil Godfrey t/a Melosuite. Not affiliated with the festival.
In short
This app does not collect any personal data. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, no advertising and no cookies. The one external connection is Cloudflare Web Analytics — a cookieless visitor counter described below.
What happens on your device
Everything you do in the app — the sets you star in “My Plan”, your day and font-size preferences — is saved only on your own device (in your browser’s local storage). It never leaves your phone, and it is never sent anywhere.
To clear it, simply delete the app’s data (or clear your browser’s site data) — nothing is held anywhere else.
What the app is
An offline-first schedule of the festival: what’s on at each venue across the city, “Now & Next”, a starred “My Plan”, and search. Once opened, the whole festival works with no signal. Set times come from the official full listings; the app is not affiliated with or endorsed by the festival.
Hosting & analytics
The web version is served by Cloudflare Pages, which keeps standard, anonymised server logs as any web host does.
The app also includes Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly visitor counter. It sets no cookies, collects no personal data and does not track individuals — it only counts page views (roughly, via sampling) and reports coarse categories such as device type and country. It is what tells us the app is being used; nothing else is recorded. If you block it, the app still works fully offline.
Neither the app nor Melosuite collects anything beyond the above.
